The appearance of forest faeries change by the season, their wings and hair shifting to better blend in with the environment. Here we have my male forest faerie in his winter colors, sharing a snack with a cardinal. His wings have shifted to white with brown veining to give the appearance of branches in snow.
On a technical level, I'm very pleased with this picture. I love how the cardinal turned out!
I'm also a lot happier with the faeries anatomy, I think I drew his torso too long in the previous pictures, so yay improvement!
